On this Lesson, we were told to bring in clothes we though were suitable for this project and Some jewellery.
Our first task was to Take four Selfies (Photos we took of ourselves) that represented our personality and bring them into lesson to share with the class.

Here are my Selfies that represent my identity & Personality:

 

 

This was what i took, which i found out that Ive don't taken the wrong photo so i was going to refine my task and complete it correctly.

 

Later on in the day we started off with creating some sort of creative photo of our clothing's that we brought in, that day...

I decided to go with the colour scheme, and this was my out come:

 

 

 

 

 

We then had to pair up in to groups of two's and style our partner with our own clothing and take photo shoots, first in the class room, later on all around the building in order to be as creative as possible...

Fashion & Textiles Pathway

Fashion & Textiles...

When i applied for a Foundation Diploma, i was sure about applying for an Fashion Pathway for a Degree and so.. However starting the Foundation, I wasn't sure whether i wanted to go into Fashion & Textiles, 3D Design or Lens Based Media (Photography); Due to the reason that i was actually on the Design and Media Foundation with an pathway. 

It as all very confusing at first, due to the reason that we had the opportunity to think and decide again after experimenting with different media and different Pathways.
I was sure i didn't want to pick Graphics as a pathway, but that was the only course i sure about.

After experimenting with different media's within the different pathways, It was a tough decision. But i was sure i wanted to go into the Fashion pathway but just wasn't certain about the the pathway within the the subject, like: Promotion, Styling, Photography & Textiles.
This is where i will be discovering new techniques with different media...

Graphics

Faces- Yourself and Others

Graphics day 1, our first challenge was to draw and sketch but not how i usually do. In a different way.
First sketch was to have a glance at the person across you and draw with our eyes shut.

Next sketch was to, draw with your pen/ pencil in your mouth. Which i found really fun, i surprisingly enjoyed it, how ever maybe it would've been easier for me if i wasn't to use a charcoal pencil?

 

 

 

 

 





 

 

The one after was to with you opposite hand, this was the one is struggled the most.

On this one we had to draw a self portrait without picking then pen off the sheet.

We then had to draw someones ear, so i decided to go with the ear i found more interesting with piercings on.

After our drawing session, we then moved onto collage. We were told to bring in a magazine to cut out 10cm long faces and create a collage, here's mine:

Unique Bridge

For this task, we got separated into groups of 6, where we had to create a bridge altogether.
The bridge was only allowed two stands also joined from one table to the other, across the room. It was also supposed to be quite high. High enough to fit a boat underneath it(folded table).
We got given elastic bands, Sticks, cardboard and tape.

Here was our unique outcome:

 

 

The bridge was successful, we managed to get the care to go around the roundabout and return to the other end safely.

Spaghetti Tent ?

We had to create ball holders from 20 spaghetti strands. It wasn't as hard it sounds, since we also got given glue guns to hold the spaghetti's together. Instead i glues the whole spaghetti all around to secure it doesn't snap off easily. We had to construct a structure that held three plastic balls.

Later on we had to create something that would protect our products that we've just created. Assume something big and heavy was going to crush our hard works.

Creating Shadow with the lights:

Watching all our hard work, crushed in just a few seconds!
