3D Triathalon

For this 3D pathway, Our first day we had to make anything in 3D that will hold a certain water bottle.
We got given a limited amount of time to create the plan and the original piece.
Here is my Creation:

Was this creation successful and did it work?
Well... No not really. It was quite pretty on the other hand however, if i do practise some structure based paper work, i will become successful one day. Or at least i hope i will.

Later on in the day, the second task we got given was to to pair up and create a seat in cardboard. I was late, due to this reason i had to work alone...
Although it wasn't such a bad idea, i got to experiment a little and i was successful for once!

Transformed Visions

Tate Modern; Review

Room 9
Facing History: Hrair Sarkissain

As i walked into the room 9, this photography piece took my attention straight away. I found it very interesting and amusing. How it Relates to history of the Contemporary war and civil society.
The Photos were taken in different cities such as: Damascus, Aleppo and Lattakia. In Syria, the Artists birth place. Each photo was taken in such knowledge of the certain times for the daylight, sunlight and midnight. It was thought fully in depth.

This was my favourite piece in the Tate Modern.

Fashion Photography

I took a few photos for my Accessory, and these are the ones i thought were the strongest ones:

All Photos were taken in the Building, Ravensbourne.

Final Accessory

Its timee! I'm making my final piece today after doing a whole load of design last night. I've chosen a very feminine and elegant head piece as my final accessory.
I was inspired by the 1920's art deco times. Ive always adored the 20's, especially the Fashion back then.

Development and progress on Final Accessory:

Fashion & Accessory

The given task today, was to design some ideas on models from the Magazines. The ideas are from the previous day, how we've made the structure and textures.

The whole class, Fashion ideas:

Fashion & Textiles

Paper Manipulation

First day of the week for fashion and textiles, i was so excited. I love Textiles, and texture. All i thought about was what will i be doing for the week, I've been waiting for quite some time and here it come; Paper manipulation.
Not exactly what i expected, since i find my weakness in fashion as structure. So all my excited was all just gone. Ooh well, fashion is fashion ill do anything to succeed.

First initial task was to create create texture and structure with paper, and use any of the equipment that was given.
Here is what i created:

Later on, we got put into groups of 3/4's and everyone had to bring all the structural and textural pieces they've created, to make a garment out of them.
Each garment had a theme, according to the theme we had to create a relevant outcome.
The first piece was to just experiment with our own paper samples. On the other hand, the other garments we had to keep moving right in every 5 to 10 minutes.

Original Piece ( Front And Back ):

Focusing on the shoulder, where we thought overlapping was a good idea, that way all the attention would directly go towards the shoulder, it almost felt like a shoulder pad.

Sexy was the next theme, so my group thought it was okay to have some skin showing. Hang on! It was almost naked. I tried to convince my group, that it wasn't exactly meant to look like it was exposing itself, maybe a tight skin skirt was more relevant ?

Gothic - I think this was my personal favourite out all the ones Ive done in group works, because of the way it represents itself on the mannequin, it really does look Gothic with the shapes and structure.

Romantic, i believe that this one has no relevance to the theme, if i was to refine, what me and my group have done, most certainly leave it simple and make it elegant.

Bottom exaggeration ? I loved this one. The out come was very successful, and exaggerated. perfectly related to the theme.

Go Wild. I really like this theme, it gives you the freedom to play around with all the all the samples you have, with no specific idea/ clue of what your about to do.

Storyboard

Second day of Lens based Media, we got put into groups of four and had to draw what we were told in order to come out with an creative and unique storyboard with every ones ideas meshed together. At first we told to draw a mixture of characters that we: love, fear, find interesting and someone we only saw once, who looked interesting enough for us to remember by the one time glance. Then a mixture of places with the same feelings and thoughts. It went on and on until the A1 sheet we all shared was fully loaded with no space.

Later on, when we had to create 3 storyboards with this outcome. At first it seemed difficult, however we just gradually just completed the three storyboards and they were  fantastic. I was really impressed with our outcome, on how create it could be, when in a group and everyone knowing what they were supposed to do. ed
Our group was probably most successful with the outcome and presentation. Using every ones drawings/ sketches these were our masterpieces:

We Chose to present the first storyboard out of the three, which was very successful.
This is how the A1 sheet looked in the end of the day:
