After visiting the Memory Palace we had to visit the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, however the Serpentine Gallery was closed. So instead we decided to visit the Science Museum, since it was accross the Victoria and Albert Museum.
I came across these jelly sculptered figures, which i thought was very creative, the way they stand and question every piece of artwork your looking at.
For instance, this little guy here! What's inside your head? as walking through the museum, they help you re- think the piece of sculture your observing twice. I genuinely thought they were brilliant.
Later on in the Museum i was looking into one of the old pieces, which was an vintage/ Retro Car whatever its called. It sort of reminded me of the current project i was doing 'Past, Present And Futrue', This car resembled the past, back in the days. I've always had an interest on the vintage cars and this one was very beautiful.
I loved the way it was structed, the single rectangular window at the front, large space on the seats and the drivers wheel, it looked very delicate and stiff. The car almost reminded me of jeeps nowadays during the present.
This car related onto the theme of my current preject not only for the past but also for the present because it reminded me of the recent designed jeeps.
As i was exploring the museum, i saw this image printed or either stuck onto the windows of the Museum, it was bright and colourful. It reminded me of the of the graphic drawn version of the corals undersea.
Its flowly and all i imagined of was, how extravaggant this would look, if it was photoshoped and created into a pattern and became a print for a garment.
This Final image was my Favourite at the Science Museum, i zoomed into an fabric artwork which was inside a bos of glass. It looks very similar to an african print and pattern shape.
The Colours used on this piece of textiles, it very radiant and all of the tones of brown and cream.
The only two colours that stand out are red and white. I loved the the texture of the textiles piece, however if i was to change something about it, i would most certainly add some couching onto the texture.
